About
I am in the final stages of my PhD in Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) at the University of Surrey, which involves sign language representation learning and integration of machine learning models for sign recognition and translation.
Prior to starting my PhD, I did a Masters at University of Glasgow and then worked as a Software Engineer for almost 4 years.
I have also achieved Competitions Master on Kaggle with the highest rank of 28th worldwide, with my most notable Kaggle achievement of getting 1st place in the Cornell Birdcall Identification challenge.
My research interests include Video Representation Learning, Vision and Language, and Sign Language Recognition and Translation.
